Brief Introduction of the Workshop

With support from the IEEE Control Systems Society (CSS) and Key Laboratory of Systems and Control, AMSS, the IEEE Control Systems Beijing Chapter is pleased to announce that The 1st IEEE Control Systems Beijing Chapter Graduate Student Workshop on Control and Systems will be held at Lecture Hall, Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) from 9:00am to 5:00pm on March 16, 2012. The main aim of the workshop is to create a forum for research postgraduate students from universities and research institutions in the area of control and systems to exchange the latest research findings and ideas and also a networking session for students and staff. It is also to promote the IEEE membership to the graduate students (especially in China).

It is the first time to organize a workshop by IEEE Control Systems Beijing Chapter. This workshop consists of 12 technical presentations by research students from 6 top institutions, namely Institute of Systems Science CAS, Tsinghua University, Institute of Automation CAS, Peking University, Beihang University, and Beijing Institute of Technology.
